Attached are some photos of a beautiful example of an early (serial #618)
Pierret stencil (R.Gatti).  Notice the unusual G#  placement...similar to
the early tenor you've got posted.  I originally thought it was a solid
sterling silver horn, however, I found a small flaw in the silverplate under
the rim of the bell where the brass substrate shows.  It's a joy to play and
has great intonation.  Its minimalist engraving makes it an attractive
example of an old European horn.  Thought you might enjoy!
