This Buffet SA tenor was made in 1953 and was Buffet's answer to
Selmer's Super Balanced Action. The SA is the forerunner to the Super
Dynaction and has the same dark tone and wonderful workmanship. This
horn has been completely cleaned, repadded, and adjusted. It has the
full complement of Buffet screw-in pad resonators. No signs of repair,
ever - even on the bottom (see pic). It's a dandy. The old re-lacquer
is 90% or better. There are areas of tarnish and the engraving is
smooth. The original two-handle case shows wear on the outisde edges,
but the inside including the clarinet case is fine and all latches
