This is a curved soprano sax by Yanagisawa in great appearance and
playing condition. Serial number is 0011670 but no reference to or
indication of a model number. This horn is near perfect in every way,
but please note that it is NOT mint like out of the factory..... there
are a few tiny blemishes that aren't very noticeable but still are
there. A small scratch to the lacquer on the back of the bell. A tiny
pinhead size spot on the front of the bell where the lacquer has flaked
off, or worn off or something. Hardly worth mentioning, but I don't
like surprising folks.
These are great
horns. Yanagisawa has done an outstanding job designing the curved
soprano for modern use. Easy to play, great full and rich sound, and
superb intonation. This has been my personal soprano for several
years.... The only reason I'm selling it is because I have found that I
don't have enough practical use for a soprano sax to justify keeping
this gorgeous horn for my own use. It needs to be placed where it will
get used more often than with me.

quick note for eBayers. I have been selling instruments and musical
accessories for years on eBay using the eBay handle "flaviusnevus"
(formerly "cgconn"). I am no longer doing most of my selling directly
and have engaged a friend, "ddcmom200" to sell instruments on my
behalf. I've been playing clarinet for over 40 years and she studied
the clarinet at Michigan State University. She and I are both committed
to providing the same high level of service and customer satisfaction
which we have provided in the past. We made this arrangement to free up
my time to be better able to acquire desirable pro and vintage
instruments as well to rehabilitate them. Right now we are disposing of
a considerable backlog of instruments and items which need some help
and I can not realistically get to. Such items will be clearly marked
as "AS-IS" to differentiate them from the items we'll be selling which
are already in great playing condition.

I prefer to make my auction items available throughout the world
without restriction, I will not put myself at unnecessary risk. I will no longer accept bids from Indonesia or from Africa due to recent fraud attempts. If
I suspect that a bidder is acting in a suspicious or fraudulent manner
I will take whatever actions I need to protect my interests. This may
mean that I will cancel a bid and/or report the bidder to eBay.

- For this item I am charging a flat rate of $20.00 within the
continental US. This includes shipping, materials, handling and
insurance if the price of the item warrants it. I
do not purchase insurance for any item with a value of less than $20,
since the cost of insurance is NOT worth the cost or trouble involved.

- Due to problems I've encountered recently with fraudulent payors, I'm
now extremely selective about whom I allow to pay using paypal. Do NOT
assume that you can pay via paypal unless you contact me first and I
agree to it. I am not willing to accept paypal from US bidders without
a confirmed address and I will not ship to an address other than the
confirmed address in the paypal notice. In general payors must have a
positive feedback rating of at least +10 and be recently active. Generally, I ship via UPS in the US and via USPS for foreign destinations and do my best to be as economical as possible while shipping safely. If you want me to ship to a US location using USPS, I will certainly be willing to do so, but this may increase your shipping cost. Providing me with a shipping address that is a PO box is tantamount to renegotiating the shipping cost. Buyers are responsible for use or sales taxes as determined by the local governing authority
